A Nonprofit Advancing Access to Integrated Pediatric Therapy
Functional Foundations Pediatric Services provides collaborative, evidence-based pediatric therapy for children with developmental disabilities and complex rehabilitation needs, while fostering a strong, connected community for families navigating care.
OUR MISSION
Fun.Found is a nonprofit organization empowering children, nurturing potential, and building belonging for children with complex rehabilitation needs in Eugene Oregon
We promote the physical, social, and emotional well-being of children with complex medical and motor needs and their families through tailored, strength-based interventions that promote growth, independence, and community connection.

Fun.Found is building a community where every child is supported and every family is understood.
We are creating a welcoming, community-centered space where children with complex needs and their families can access expert, collaborative care, engage in meaningful play and social connection, and thrive through shared support and innovation.
.
Our Why
Children with developmental disabilities and complex rehabilitation needs face significant barriers to care, including long waitlists, fragmented services, and limited access to environments that support meaningful participation and progress. Families often navigate these challenges in isolation, without coordinated systems of support.

Functional Foundations Pediatric Services was established to address these gaps. Our organization exists to expand access to collaborative, evidence-based pediatric therapy delivered at the intensity required for meaningful outcomes, while intentionally building a supportive community for children and families navigating complex care.

Grounded in our mission, we aim to provide wrap-around services that promote neuroplastic change, functional progress, and quality of life—within environments designed to be engaging, inclusive, and family-centered. By combining high-quality clinical care with community connection, we work to ensure children experience not only access to services, but opportunities for joy, belonging, and sustained growth.

Goals for the Year Ahead (2026)
Expand Multidisciplinary Care to Increase Access
We will continue building a collaborative, multidisciplinary team to reduce waitlists and ensure children with complex rehabilitation needs receive timely, coordinated care. Planned growth includes expanding occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, mental health, and support staffing to strengthen service capacity and continuity.
Why this matters: Increased staffing directly expands access to intensive, high-quality therapy for underserved children.
Strengthen Integrated, Family-Centered Care
We are advancing an integrated care model that brings therapy, communication support, and mental health services together under one coordinated program. This approach emphasizes collaboration across disciplines and active family participation in care planning.
Why this matters: Integrated care improves outcomes, reduces fragmentation, and better supports families navigating complex systems.
Invest in Supportive, Inclusive Therapy Environments
We will enhance our physical spaces to better support sensory regulation, accessibility, and engagement—both indoors and outdoors. Planned improvements include sensory-friendly design updates and expanded use of accessible outdoor therapy and community spaces.
Why this matters: Thoughtfully designed environments improve participation, comfort, and therapeutic effectiveness for children with complex needs.
Elevate the Family Experience & Reduce Isolation
We are deepening our focus on family support and community connection through expanded family programming, advisory input, and navigation support. These efforts are designed to reduce caregiver stress and foster belonging.
Why this matters: Strong family support systems reinforce progress beyond therapy and improve long-term outcomes.
Build Sustainable Infrastructure for Long-Term Impact
We are strengthening organizational infrastructure—including leadership capacity, administrative support, volunteer engagement, and specialized equipment programs—to ensure sustainable growth and responsible stewardship as demand continues to increase.

Why this matters: Sustainable systems ensure donor investments translate into lasting community impact.
Philanthropic support is essential to advancing these goals and ensuring children and families receive the level of care, access, and community they deserve.
